A team of runners endured 6miles of mud, obstacles and lots of water to raise over £1700 for LifeNow charity.

A team of around twenty intrepid runners took on the No Ego challenge on Saturday 10th May. The assualt course, sited at the Leisure Lakes complex near Preston, featured around 50 different obstacles in a 6 mile course. There were obstacles to get over and under, into and out off, plus things to carry and ditches, mud and water to get through. The course tested stamina, strength and determination.

James Downie, who organised and lead the LifeNow team said

"Doing NoEgo for LifeNow was a challenge for the whole team - but extremely worthwhile to raise money for a great charity."

LifeNow is aiming to design and build a specialist centre to support young adults who have life limiting conditions.

The muddy, No Ego runners have raised approaching £2000 which is a great boost to LifeNow's cause.
